Schedule and packet pickup
Packets are handed out at the Hawaii Convention Center on Friday, April 9, 2027 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring photo ID and collect your own packet; none are given out on race day. Late entry at the expo costs $200.
Course
The route heads west on Kalakaua Avenue, passes the Convention Center and Ala Moana, turns at Aloha Tower and comes back through Waikiki. It is flat until about mile 9, when it climbs Diamond Head Road past the lighthouse to a turnaround at Triangle Park, then drops into Kapiolani Park.
Parking and travel
Waikiki hotel guests are asked to walk to the start. Free shuttles run from 3:30 to 5:30 a.m. from the Kapiolani Community College lots, with return buses from Kapiolani Park from about 9 to 11 a.m. Parking near the park is limited, and Kalakaua Avenue closes from 3 a.m.
Shirt and medal
Entry includes a technical shirt, a race bag and a finisher medal, plus post race food that features fresh malasadas and juice. A digital finisher certificate can be downloaded from the results page a few days after the race.
Rules and FAQ
There are no qualifying times and no cutoff; the finish stays open until the last person is done. Walkers and strollers are welcome, with strollers starting near the back. Pets and skates are not allowed. A clothing only bag check in the finisher village is open 4:00 to 10:30 a.m.

Hawaii's big spring half marathon, run by the Honolulu Marathon Association on closed roads from Waikiki to Aloha Tower and back, then up and over Diamond Head to a finish in Kapiolani Park. A shorter 8.3 mile race, the Iki, starts alongside it and skips the Diamond Head climb.
