Qualifying and trail work

Entrants must be 18 or older and show a finish of 50 miles or more within the cutoffs; virtual runs, FKTs and fat ass events do not count. Each entrant also owes eight hours of volunteer trail work. The race is cupless, and runners carry their own gels and supplements.
