From the organizers
Here's the story behind this race: Bradlee LaMontagne's life was cut way too short at the age of 21 on December 10, 2020. He was tragically killed by a negligent boat driver in Cozumel, Mexico. He was a Junior at Johns Hopkins and also the Captain of the wrestling team. He loved wrestling. He started wrestling in elementary school with Great Neck Wrestling Club and continued on until college. He was two time captain of the Cox Wrestling team and a state finalist and two time state placer, region champion, and had over 120 varsity wins. He was an NCAA All American Scholar at Johns Hopkins placing in the region. Bradlee has 4 siblings and many family and friends.
