Parking and travel
Ragnar Village
Teams camp at the reservation, about two hours from downtown San Diego and three from Los Angeles, with an optional Thursday night. Food trucks and a bonfire are on site; glamping and tent rentals are offered.
Shirt and medal
What teams get
Every team receives medals, finisher shirts, partner samples and a gift for the captain. Running both Trail SoCal and Road SoCal earns a double medal.

Solo options
Runners without a team can enter one of Ragnar's individual races at Trail SoCal: a single Saturday loop ($40), a 6 hour ultra ($175) or a 24 hour ultra from Friday evening to Saturday ($250), all on the relay loops. Results for the timed races count completed loops.

A Ragnar overnight trail relay on the Los Coyotes Reservation near Warner Springs, looking out over the Anza-Borrego Desert. Ragnar rates it one of its hardest trail events, with steep climbs on fire roads and desert singletrack among pines and oaks.
