Schedule and packet pickup

Packet pickup

Pickup is at Sole Sports Scottsdale on Monday, Nov. 23 (3 to 7 p.m.) and Tuesday, Nov. 24 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), and at Sole Sports Tempe on Wednesday, Nov. 25 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Race morning pickup opens at 6:30 a.m. at the plaza. Someone else may collect your packet.

Parking is free behind the State Capitol off 19th Avenue and Jefferson Street; the race site is a short walk east along Jefferson.

Awards and costumes

In the 5K and 10K, the top three men and women in each age group, from 1 to 11 up through 80 and over, receive a medal. A costume contest has categories for best turkey, most creative, best family, best couple and best team of 10 or more.

Rules and FAQ

Refunds, deferrals and strollers

Entries are not refunded. Deferral requests close Nov. 15 and are allowed only if you did not defer the previous year. Switching races is done through your Race Roster account. Strollers are welcome from the back of the field; dogs are strongly discouraged because of the crowds.

The race supports Paws for Youth, which runs free pet therapy programs for children and teens at Title I schools, shelters and treatment centers.
