The start line closes at 9:15 a.m. 5K participants need to hold a pace of 30 minutes per mile or faster, and 10K participants 20 minutes per mile or faster.

Refunds, transfers and strollers
Refunds are possible only within 48 hours of signing up and no later than 5 days before the race; there is no deferral. Entries can be transferred or switched to another distance through Race Roster until 11:59 p.m. on March 12. Strollers are allowed in the 5K; dogs are not.

Fees climb in six tiers from October 2 to race day, plus processing fees. The 5K runs $39 to $60 and the 10K $49 to $70. TCM members pay a fixed lower price, and runners 18 and under enter any in-person event free.

Children can choose a 100 yard dash, a half mile or a mile, and every kid gets a finisher medal. Older kids who want more can take on the 5K or 10K for free.

About the race
A late winter 5K and 10K from Twin Cities In Motion that start at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds and head into Como Park. The 5K stays in the park, while the 10K adds a loop around Lake Como. A short kids race follows the main start.
