From the organizers
Welcome to running/walking in its original form in this one of four BRRC Cross Country Race series events. This event is not meant to be run on pavement or concrete, but instead by running on your favorite DIRT or GRASS or any other OFF-ROAD running location. This event allows the participant to get back in touch with nature breathing the fresh air, feeling the earth below your feet and just getting out and enjoying life. All are low-key fun events in the fall, and they are part of the BRRC Race Series. The race name refers to the original in-person race location. Again, this year, BRRC has added to the Cross-Country Series a RUNNING CLUB CHALLENGE.
