From the organizers
The Big Gay 5K is the centerpiece of Big Gay Weekend—a colorful, high-energy run and walk through historic Armory Park Neighborhood followed by High Heel Havoc and extended post-race programming in Armory Park. The celebration begins Friday with the Kickoff Kiki at HighWire, featuring bib pickup, drinks, sign-making and plenty of pre-race sparkle. Throughout the weekend, independently-produced events across Tucson will join the Big Gay Weekend umbrella, giving locals and visitors even more ways to celebrate queer joy across the city.
