Course

The course

Roughly 65 percent singletrack, 34 percent dirt road and very little pavement, with a low point near 4,850 feet and a high point near 8,865 feet. The opening climb is the longest. Nights often drop below freezing, and the route has been rerouted for snow twice. The finish cutoff is 36 hours.

Parking and travel

Getting back to the start

Logan is under two hours by car from Salt Lake City's airport. An optional bus runs from the finish to the start once on Saturday evening for $25. Riders should park on the street near the start, not in the park's lot.

Awards

Buckles and prizes

Finishers under 24 hours get the Wolverine buckle, 24 to 30 hours the Grizzly buckle and 30 to 36 hours the Black Bear buckle. The top three men and women won $500, $300 and $200 in 2026, and the winners receive free entry the next year. A course record earns an extra $1,000.
