Schedule and packet pickup

Expo and packet pickup

Pickup is in Albert Whitted Park. On Friday, November 13, the expo and pickup for every event run from 2 to 7 p.m. Half marathon runners can also collect packets Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and each race has a short pickup window on its own morning.

Course

Half marathon course

The certified half starts by the Dali Museum, runs through the Grand Central, EDGE, Deuces and Warehouse Arts districts, returns along Central Avenue, then covers Old Northeast and Snell Isle before finishing near the Mahaffey Theater. Eight aid stations, a 4 hour limit, minimum age 12.

Course

10K and 5K courses

Both Saturday races start on Bayshore Drive, pass through downtown and along the waterfront, and include a stretch on the St. Pete Pier. The 10K has a 2 hour limit and a minimum age of 10; the 5K has a 1 hour limit, allows strollers and is open from age 8.

Parking

The Mahaffey Theater lot and garage next to the start charges $10 cash on race mornings, though its exit is briefly blocked during Saturday starts. The SouthCore garage on 1st Avenue S and the Sundial garage on 2nd Street N are cheaper options a few blocks away.

Shirt and medal

What finishers get

Half marathon runners get a hoodie at pickup plus a medal and a beach towel at the finish; 10K and 5K runners get a shirt and a medal. The post race party in Albert Whitted Park has local food, craft beer, recovery services and live music.

The Tortuga Triple covers the 5K, 10K and half (22.4 miles). Double options pair the 5K and 10K on Saturday, or either one with Sunday's half. Relay teams split the half into legs of about 7.5 and 5.6 miles, with each runner registering separately.

A three day race weekend in downtown St. Petersburg. A dog walk opens Friday, the 10K, 5K and kids runs fill Saturday, and the half marathon closes it on Sunday, looping through downtown arts districts and waterfront neighborhoods before finishing on Bayshore Drive.
