Schedule and packet pickup
Packets are handed out at the Rivers Casino Ballroom, 1001 N Delaware Ave: Wed., Nov. 11, 4 to 8 p.m.; Thu., Nov. 12, noon to 8 p.m.; Fri., Nov. 13, noon to 7 p.m. A friend can collect yours with your QR code. Race day pickup (6 to 7:45 a.m.) costs $20 and must be booked ahead.
Course
Both races finish in front of the art museum, not on its steps. Runners must hold a 15 minute per mile pace. The 10 Mile includes Mount Drago, a timed hill climb; the 100 fastest men and 100 fastest women up it get a special medal. Corrals are set by the pace you give at sign up.
Parking and travel
Organizers urge carpooling or transit and warn of road closures. SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line (15th St / City Hall) and Broad Street Line (Race-Vine or City Hall) stop within about a mile, as does Amtrak's 30th Street Station. Parking can be booked ahead through SpotHero. Gear check is in the festival area.
Awards
The top three male, female and nonbinary finishers win in the 5K, the 10 Mile and the challenge. There are also team and costume contests. Runners get a finisher medal for each race and a race shirt; the 2026 medals mark 50 years of Rocky.
The cause
Runners who register and then raise $350 for Special Olympics get their entry fee refunded. Processing fees and add ons such as race day packet pickup are not refunded.
More from the race
Challengers run the 5K at 7 a.m. and then the 10 Mile at 8 a.m. for a combined 13.1 miles, earning a challenge medal on top of the two race medals. Signing up for the two races separately does not count; the challenge has its own entry ($170).
