From the organizers
The third annual Rock Solid Marathon & Half Marathon (RSM) will take place on Saturday, February 27 at 9:00 am PST in Coupeville, Washington on Whidbey Island. Both races feature an unforgettable course with winding coastal roads and scenic trails. The races start and finish at Goldie's and The Roost in the heart of historic Coupeville. The course will first take runners across the island over to the rugged beauty of Ebey's Landing, then through the Kettles Trail System's windy paths. The Half Marathon will then follow Madrona Way along Penn Cove and its famous mussel beds, passing by the the rustic Captain Whidbey Inn, before coming back into Coupeville and finishing at a party at Goldie's.
