Schedule and packet pickup
The expo is in Hall F of the Pennsylvania Convention Center (12th and Arch), Friday November 20 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday November 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring government photo ID. Half marathon and challenge runners must pick up on Friday; there is no race morning pickup.
Schedule and packet pickup
On Saturday, November 21, the half marathon starts at 7 a.m. from 22nd Street and the Parkway, and the 8K starts at 11 a.m. at 25th Street and Kelly Drive, running along the Schuylkill River. Push rim wheelchairs start five minutes before each race. Both finishers get a medal and a shirt.
Parking and travel
Organizers recommend public transit on race days. SEPTA buses 7, 32, 38, 43 and 48 serve the Art Museum area, and a SEPTA train links the airport to Center City every 30 minutes. Amtrak trains arrive at 30th Street Station, a short cab ride from Center City.
Rules and FAQ
Every participant must hold a 16 minute per mile pace. The finish stays open 7 hours for the marathon, 3.5 hours for the half and 80 minutes for the 8K. Minimum ages are 16 for the marathon, 14 for the half and 11 for the 8K. Handcrank bikes are not allowed.

The start and finish on the Parkway and Eakins Oval is a secure zone, and spectators may enter only from 8 a.m. Free gear check on the south side of Eakins Oval takes clear bags only, from 5 a.m. on both days. Warming tents open at 5 a.m. Free pace groups run from 2:50 to 5:30 for the marathon.

The Kid's Run for ages 4 to 10 holds age group dashes from 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Oval, and each child gets a medal. Four challenges pair the Saturday races with Sunday's marathon for an extra medal; the Freedom Challenge covers all three adult races.

A USATF certified marathon and World Athletics Label road race that starts and finishes on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway by the Art Museum. The route passes through the historic district, University City, Fairmount Park and Manayunk and follows the Schuylkill River. No qualifying time is needed.
