From the organizers
The 23rd Annual Oilman Texas Triathlon is southeast Texas' favorite locally-produced Half Iron Distance Triathlon. New last year was the Sprint distance triathlon, offering more options to more athletes.
Saturday, the Sprint distance will include a 500 meter swim, 11 mile bike and a 5k run through the Margaritaville neighborhoods and golf course. We also will have a 5K and Kids Du. Athletes will enjoy a taste of the Sunday course, with a mix of roads and golf cart paths, with the same transition and finish line celebration. Including of course, a mechanical bull!
