Schedule and packet pickup
Friday, July 16: expo noon to 5 p.m. in Lot B, 5K Hill Climb starts 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., 10K at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17: parking opens at 4:00 a.m., the gondola opens to runners at 6:00 a.m., then the half marathon starts.
Course
Expect single track and technical terrain. The 5K climbs to the summit and you ride the gondola down. The 10K and half start on top and run downhill; the half adds more ridge and forest miles. The 10K and half have 3 hour limits.
Parking and travel
All parking is at Crystal Mountain Resort, mainly Lot B with Lots C, D and E as overflow. A gravel lot race campground with tent, car and van spots is booked during registration; full RV hookups go through the resort.
