Schedule and packet pickup

Packet pickup and starts

Packets are handed out at the start line from 90 minutes before the 7:00 a.m. Mountain start, and race day entry is taken there too. Half, full and 50K runners may take the optional 6:00 a.m. early start. Early packet pickup for the series is November 7, 3 to 4:30 p.m., at the Farmington venue.

Course

The course

A looped course of pavement, gravel and hard packed dirt. The marathon takes about 16 laps, with roughly 72 feet of climb per lap by the organizer's estimate. One large aid station on the loop serves everything from fruit and sandwiches to sports drink and coffee.

Shirts and medals

Every entrant, at any distance, gets a shirt and a medal set: a starter medal, a year tab and a medal shaped like the state. Those who finish every day of the series earn an extra series medal, and first time half or full marathoners get a special award.

Time limit and rules

There is no time limit for the marathon or shorter races, but everyone must finish at least 30 minutes before the park closes. Walkers are welcome and strollers are allowed; pets are not.
