Sunrise on race morning is at about 6:07 AM, and the 50K starts at 7:00 AM.

Course
The course
All races are out and back on the paved road. The marathon and 50K climb gradually for about 11 miles, add a short 4.2 mile out and back, then return; the 50K adds a final out and back. Time limits are 8 hours for the marathon and 50K.
Parking and travel
Come prepared
There are no concessions in Lovell Canyon, so bring your own food, water and shade for spectators. Gear bags can be left near the start but are not guarded.

Every distance includes a technical shirt, a finisher medal, post race food and age group awards.
Rules and FAQ
Carry water
Marathon and 50K runners must carry at least 24 ounces of water. Aid stations serve water and Gatorade. The road stays open to traffic and there are no pacers.

Out and back races on paved Lovell Canyon Road in the Spring Mountains west of Las Vegas, starting near 4,500 ft among Joshua trees and juniper where it runs cooler than the valley. Distances go from 5K to 50K, all on the same winding canyon road.
