Optional pickup is Friday, January 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the start and finish. Race morning pickup runs 6:30 to 7:30 a.m., with a briefing at 7:45 and all races starting at 8:00. There are no early starts.

Course
The routes
The 10K rolls with about 400 feet of climbing and welcomes walkers. The 25K is about 16 miles with 2,700 feet of gain: one long climb to a gap, then back down. The 50K runs the 25K and then three loops of its back half, for about 5,500 feet of gain.

Parking at the park is $10 cash per car, or free with a Georgia State Parks pass. Unicoi State Park Lodge is a short walk from the start.

Registration includes a pint glass, a finisher medal and free race photos.
Rules and FAQ
Cutoffs and aid
Cutoffs are 4.5 hours for the 10K, 5.5 hours for the 25K (3.5 hours at the mile 8 aid station) and 11 hours for the 50K. The 10K has no aid, the 25K has one station and the 50K has three plus a water drop. No pacers; the race is cupless.
