From the organizers
GreenFest on the Greenbelt is an event centered around health, wellness, and recreation. There will be food and activities for the whole family including food trucks, vendors, and music. The walks/runs are not your everyday 5K, 10K or 1Mile Fun Run. They are special because of the surroundings and the unique experience in the festival area. The 1 Mile Fun Run will be around the festival area for all of the spectators to enjoy. The 5K is a good introduction to off-road running/walking. The course will be almost entirely off-road and will take you along the beautiful Greenbelt Trail, across the historic Elm Fork Bridge, and introduce you to the equestrian trails.
