How fast is it?

Slower than most Ohio trail 10Ks

The fastest quarter of the 2026 10K field finished under 1:11:07, against 1:06:23 in a typical Ohio trail 10K, so times here run 7 percent slower.

  • 50K: Slower than most Ohio trail 50Ks. The fastest quarter of the 2023 50K field finished under 6:37:15, against 6:15:17 in a typical Ohio trail 50K, so times here run 6 percent slower.

Compares the fastest quarter of each field, so walkers and first-timers do not skew it. It reflects the course and the field together: a flat course, cool weather, or a competitive crowd all make times faster.

Typical race-day weather

Around May 29 the day usually runs from 53°F at dawn to 76°F in the afternoon, with measurable rain on about 27% of days. Cold snaps dip to 45°F and hot years reach 86°F.

Based on 75 days within a week of the date over the last 5 years, from historical weather for the start area. Not a forecast.
