Parking and travel
Getting there
Drive about 13 miles south of Moab and turn right onto a dirt road just past mile marker 113; the start is about 2.5 miles in. The road is rough but passable in 2WD. The lot opens at 5:15 a.m. and attendants direct parking; an overflow lot is used when it fills.

Every runner gets a race shirt, a technical trucker hat and a finisher medal.
Rules and FAQ
Bring a cup
Aid stations are cupless, so runners carry a bottle, bladder or reusable cup. Cutoff times apply, and the timing chip must be worn on the shoe.

Runners and their crews can camp free at the start and finish area for the race weekend. The finish is far from town, so bring your own drinks and supplies.

About the race
A remote desert trail race south of Moab from Mad Moose Events, on the edge of the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area. Terrain runs from double track and sandy washes to technical singletrack; the 50 mile adds down climbs and rim running and is one of their hardest courses.
