From the organizers
The 12th Annual Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K is one of our largest fundraisers for Atlanta Lab Rescue. ALR's mission is to rescue Labrador Retrievers and Large Breed Mixes from overwhelmed shelters and abusive situations and place them in secure, loving homes. We average 40+ dogs in the program at any given time and in our first 13 years, we have rescued over 6000 dogs. Our website is www.atlantalabrescue.com. The Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K (approximately 3.15 miles) begins and ends at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park (formerly Westside Park) in Atlanta, GA. This will be a dog friendly race; however no retractable leashes are allowed. The event is being held on Sunday, November 15th, 2026.
