What a typical finish looks like

A typical finisher at a 10K in Utah runs 1:04:02, about 10:18 a mile, based on 21 races with published results. Women typically finish in 1:07:09 and men in 1:00:04.

Light and altitude

Sunrise on race morning is at about 7:23 AM, and the 10K starts at 8:00 AM. The start sits about 4,900 feet above sea level, high enough that most runners from lower ground run noticeably slower.

Fees exclude processing fees. Comparisons use current entry fees and published results from races nearby.
