Grab your furry, four-legged pal and join the Detroit Police Department and Detroit Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan (RIM) for the Heart Diggity Dog 5K on October 3rd, 2026! Run, run/walk or walk through Midtown and Downtown Detroit! Start from Brush Mall, next to RIM and the DMC Heart Hospital, 311 Mack Ave., Detroit, in between Beaubien and John R, head down Brush to Comerica Park, circle around the neighborhood and back up to Midtown. Participants receive a t-shirt and custom medal, and dogs get (*) a foldable water tray (ideal for walks and runs). Have a fun, heart-healthy day with your furry friend downtown while supporting the Detroit Police Department!
